Are e-bay worse than NTL & BT?
« on: April 15, 2010, 09:15:22 PM »
Forgot my user ID, clicked on the link to get it sent to me. Three times.  Also an e-mail via a feeddback thingy.

Each time they say they've sent me my details.  Each time nothing arrived.

Anyone got any idea how I can get in touch with them.  At the moment, as soon as I think I'm making progress I end up on the 'forgotten your 'stuff'' page.

PS there aren't any probs receiving e-nails and my spam box is clear.

Sigh....

Nothing makes sense any more....

This is from one of the help pages:

"Go to the Forgot your user ID page, and enter your email address. We'll send your user ID to your email address registered with eBay.

If your registered email address is no longer valid, we cannot retrieve your user ID. Please register again."

Or, you could try sending a mail to this address  ukrswebhelp@ebay.com

Good luck

Thanks Martin.

I've tried the first option you mention a few times, but dim (remember the Welsh lessons) joy.

Have just written to the link you provided and await the results with interest!

Forgot about this one.  took two goes, but the link provided by Martin worked and all is now well in e-bay land.  Actually they sorted things twice and I've ignored one o fthem, but at least it's a result.  Too late for what I was after, but hey ho.
