Maybe there's not the interest in the Muffs that there used to be on this board, but I'm gonna tell you anyway. Took my blue rhinos, winos t shirt to the gig last night. They were amazing. This was my first veture into one of these 'sort of secret warm up' gigs, entrance by the side door. Went in, knowing looks all around. Some bloke comes up to me, says he recognises m. I apologised, said I don't recognise you, but he introduced me to his pals, and we were away. It felt like being part of some mystic cult, though plenty more attending than a certain Welsh band are currently attracting. For those who are aware of the band, and I know you're out there reading these posts ;)  I think we all favour the Carlo, Frizz, Martin line up to this one, but they were on fire. This aws right up there in my list of alll time great gigs. If you get the chance, go and see them.

And speaking with Roddy, he remembred givng me some cd's for the Calsonic gig (Tony, Phil?) and he spoke fondly about MJ.

I do like the Muffins but it's been a while since they've been in Glasgow.   They managed to make their way to the Ferry (twice) with JCB but slightly different line ups and they were superb.  Was great to hear a live rendition of both Willie The Pimp and Peaches En Regalia along with many other Zappa classics which I never managed whilst the great man was alive.  Also JCB's versions of Plastic Factory hit the spot.

Got all the CD's/DVD's at home but would love the chance to see them again.
