Pete Brown interview
« on: September 23, 2010, 07:53:47 PM »
There's a recent Pete Brown interview here:
http://www.wordmagazine.co.uk/content/the-return-pete-brown-whats-it-write-some-words-cream-1967-are-still-paying-bills-40-years

Only occasional references to Phil, but entertaining nevertheless, particularly the anecdote about the Band Of The Finnish Airforce wanting to cover 'I Feel Free' with some rewritten lyrics (think Jonesy and 'they don't like it up em').

One of the comments made me chuckle:

"Is Pete Brown's latest album 'Road of Cobras' the only Benny Hill inspired title in rock history?"
Nationsounds - the label that brought you Shake The Nation and raised £1,500 in memory of Micky...

What about all those guitarists inspired to play Gibsons:

"Now Ernie rushed out into the street
His goldtop in his hand ..."
