George has suggested that people who follow other music-related forums might like to post details on them.

I'm about to do so on Basschat. Please feel free to do so too!

Cheers

Already done that on the MTWA site.   I'd do it on wa.com but I'd get lynched  ;)

Here are the posters, any help spreading the word would be great.  Posters were done by the wonderful Mr Pete Middleton, cheers mate!

These posters will be available to buy at the shows, hopefully we can get many signed by all musicians participating on the night.  With any luch we can get a few T-shirts made out of them too.

Just put the ad on FBook, so will generate a bit of local interest.

Should get there for the Saturday, Friday is in the balance as I may have to be in work for 6:00 on the 4th.

After finally knowing how many of us were going i just tried to book 4 tickets for each night. Apart from the booking fee of ?2.50 per ticket, of which i could except if it was going to the causes involved, they also wanted a fee of ?5.25 P&P per transaction for the tickets making a total of ?10.50.  :o >:(. On asking about the 2 for ?20(exclusive of booking fee) deal that was mentioned here by GJ,the guy at Dereks knew nothing about it whatsoever ??? I was of the understanding this was not only a show in Micky's memory, but also to raise money for the Awel Y Mor nursing home, and a headstone for Micky . As the deal of 2 for 20 was not possible, why do they not put the extra ? 2.50 per ticket they are charging directly to the said causes...  To send 4 tickets from Swansea does not cost ?5.25 a time, and the booking fee of the tickets should go directly to the worthy causes IMO. We will now hopefully be able to pay on the night, that way at least the cash will be handed over at the venue on the night, and hopefully go directly where it is needed.

If it is signed for then that is acceptable,i was under the impression it was otherwise, and will re-tract the comment. I still think on occasions like these, certain fees should go directly to the said causes.

Tickets booked for hotel, 15 minute walk/stagger to the Arts Centre. And me being me, did a bit of bartering, and blagged a reduction in price. Bannon - look and learn, look and learn.

Not the usual Oystermouth Rd Guest House/chef coughs in the breakfast as originally planned. On MJ's funeral, we said that should be the closing of the book. Great memories of Oystermouth Rd, it's only right they remain in memory as MJ does.

My job was to book the hotel, JB's job is to get the tickets. As Sesame Street used to sing........ 'co operation'......

PS on the hotel website, on the 'Rooms' section, picture of a four poster bed. I wondered why John wanted to share a room. Not blinkin' likely  ;)
