Anyway, the Green Ray CD's are rubbish. And the Help Yourself CD is even worse.

They make good wipe-clean beermats. :P

A pavementis where people park their cars or vans.

I found out today that The Celtic Lodge used to be called The Penyrallt.  I have agreement that 15 minutes to walk to the venue is optimistic.

Pete, why did you order from Derricks?

Arts Centre tickets can be used for seating and standing, Derricks standing only. Arts Centre have a much lower booking fee and a much lower p&p fee.

Without wishing to intervene (if I didn't want to would I have made this post?!)  initially it appeared that Arts centre (AC) only sold balcony tix and Derricks only sold standing tix.  Don't know why that decision was taken - an AC requirement perhaps?  Not immediately apparent that AC tix would allow access to the standing area.

Having looked at the venue plan, it holds 450, 150 roughly being seated (ooh er missuss).  I have asked before about how crowded the standing area would be if it's a sell out.  Let's hope that question is answered on the night.

Just had a reply from Derricks they say its too expensive to send tickets to Germany?????? I paid nearly 20 pounds for each ticket with the postage and booking fees I am not very happy with these Rip Off Merchants as HMV only charge me 2.00 pound postage for 5 tickets the other day

I'm surprised (or unobservant) that no-one has posted this from the Evening Post:
My dad sent it to me.

Nice bit of publicity for the shows.

Only just realised that I don't know who was in the flying pigs - I'm someone can enlighten me.

Poor response from Derricks.  Did they know the tix were due to go to Germany when you ordered them?  My place of work sends out stuff all over the world and I don't recall a major issue with postal costs to Germany, even if they are being sent by special delivery.

I phoned Derricks and the Arts Centre.

Derricks, though not rude by any means, did not want to help at all. Just told me to look at the website.

The Arts Centre couldn't do enough to help. Gave me loads of info I didn't even ask for, gave me names of local accommodation, and even dug the phone numbers out for me.

Didn't go on about pavements or the lack of, nor the history of Wales as we've had here, mind  :)

The Flying Pigs were a 3 piece who played the london pub rock circuit in the early '80s, and were:-
Mickey Jones - Guitar
Mick Hawksworth - Bass (ex Alvin Lee)
Phil Little (drums)
A CD was issued in 2003 - Point  PNTVP131CD

Yes they knew it was to Germany as you fill in the address etc for the Delivery and Credit Card Details, as I am originally from the UK I get post regular from there, and a small Parcel only costs a couple of quid, yet 4.50 is not enough to send an envelope, they also dont send recorded delivery and now dont answer emails..... all I can say is its a PISS POOR ticket outlet.
