The Pen yr Allt pub in Alltwen (just above Ponty) and possibly The Dilwyn in Ponty itself may be able to help with rooms.

MBB came up with it first..

Booking oystermouth rd, 2 nights at ?25 each will do me. If there's a few on there, and would like to share a taxi, then happy days.

Jeez I got to stop posting late at night after wine.

Glad you've got digs (an ageing expression!) sorted out.

Finished work early today to watch the match of the tournament, Portugal v Brazil.  Ended up watching Bury ( ;)) v Southend dockers club.

Unfortunately he's in Toronto ( always wondered about the Lone Ranger's preferences) on the 18th and the 3rd looks unlikely because he's in happy class.

He came down this way in 86/7 to record Pontardulais Male voice choir for The Tide is Turning off KAOS.

He then invited them to go on tour with him and when they heard the album the said No way pedro or similar.  They'd only heard their bit and when they heard the album they were mortified.

Get down the pits and earn a decent living.  Ah, forgot.  The Thatcher bitch psycho revolting thing from Hell closed them down.  Not that I have a strong opinion...

I have been to Grantham and it is beyond the most boring place in the country.  Been a while since I saw someone and his bike in a pub.

Just an update.

Tickets are being printed and will be avaliable next week.

The Gig will be filmed for those who are unable to attend.

As stated before, more artists are expected to participate.

There hasn't been any gigs like this for a while, so it's difficult get all these people together.  But it's sure to be a grand celebration of a great life.

Thanks George. Was just thinking about travelling logistics for those coming from afar - will it be entirely an evening do or will it start "early"? As you say, lots of artists to fit in!
