Curious... avatars have disappeared for me, on both Firefox and IE. Tried disabling and re-enabling avatar display in profile, makes no difference.

I looked through some old mails yesterday (funny to see how everyone was struggling with the new forum) specifically looking to see if avatars were visible. A couple were, but the majority were missing, just the missing icon (square with a cross in).

In the current "Introspective" topic I can only see Gavin's Effigy Music avatar, all others missing. I can see Dave Scotts only in "Cover versions..", Gavin, Tony, Dave Scott, Dave Bardsley, Martin H, visable in "Kingdom of noise..", need I go on?

Actually, now I have *most* avatars displayed, but not all. Curious.

everything disappeared again,but today, when i re-put up this picture of my slow motion prototype poster(oh aren't i special?) by rick griffin(bought at the now defunct "psychedelic solution" poster store on 8th st and 6th ave. manhattan, along with a "here now" grateful dead "wake of the flood" poster, and a ravi shankar poster -live at the filmore east 1968,dang that one has a tear in it,must be/can be remedied.oh, giving people superfluous info, what joy it brings me,the idea that someone might care,that they are hanging on my every word,although i've come to realize this may not entirely be the case )the avatar appeared once again.would suggest a re putting up of pictures as maybe rectifying said hack...well i have the night off which is ok because i have a sore throat and my voice is lacklustre.that being said, my friends are dj spinning downtown(60's,garage,pop,psychedelic,early 70's?) with some film(actually i think i supplied one of them this week"tales of the dean's wife" 1970; it's just tame enough with some fish eye lense sequences and psychedelic multicolored vignettes)projections and one of them playing in one of the bands in the back as well.it's at otto's and it's called "real gone".i will be dancing(for exercise mind you)with maybe some added air guitar,not saying too much.it starts at 10 goes till 4.i like to get there on the ground floor when i can.they have it once a month.if you are ever in nyc check it out if you'd like
