Not sure I understand that, but I would want my clock to show actual time, not a false reading.  Also, the occurrence is intermittent and, if it was caused by relative time shifts I would have thought it would be persistant or only affecting messages posted in the last (or next?) hour.  My head aches.  I can live with the non-problem.  (But thanks anyway)

I wasn't implying that those affected should change their local time, just that local time might be implicated in the problem. That said, I have had my profile set to "Davey time" for the last day, and "show unread posts" seems to be working just fine, so it may be a red herring.

Jules,

At 1500 posts, does "Hero Member" become "Oh God, not him again.." ? ::)

..and is it my PC, or has "roll eyes" become veeeerrrrrryyyyyyyyyy slow ?
Virgin places don't mean a thing to people who never bring their hearts along.

500's the highest benchmark at the moment, but I was mulling over setting a new one up at 5,000. Only one close contender for that accolade at the moment, just a thousand or so posts short.

Cue a round of applause for Mr Heron - our most prolific poster - who also happens to have spent more time on the Manboard than any other member. Or, perhaps more likely, has forgotten to log out more often than anyone else.
